Project: Aviation Fuel Storage System
Location: A major midwest international airport
Problem:
In the past, refueling aircrafts in Indianapolis was costly, time consuming and not always accurate. They knew there was a more consistent and effective way to refuel their planes. They relied on In-Land Technologies Services to help solve the problem.
ITS Solution:
In-Land Technologies designed, manufactured and commissioned an underground jet fuel storage system for the airport in Indianapolis.
Utilizing an online ordering system and underground delivery system manufactured by ITS, the airport can now accurately bill individual airlines for fuel costs, reduce the number of employees needed to refuel, and provide accurate measurements.

Project: Sour Water Stripper System
Location: A major refinery in Delaware City, Del.
Problem: Sour water is harmful to the environment and difficult to dispose. The refinery had an outdated system that was making sour water disposal time-consuming, costly and environmentally unstable.
ITS Solution - ITS designed, specified and procured instrumentation for a new sour water stripper system; leading to a more efficient operation.
The new system allows the refinery to dispose of by-products effectively and from an environmentally friendly standpoint. With the new system, harmful material is broken down and changed into water that can be safely disposed or reintegrated into their processes.

Project: Control System for Water Treatment System
Location: Ameren Power Plant, St. Louis, Mo.
Problem: Energy giant, Ameren, needed to design and produce a new control system for their water treatment system at the 500-acre plant site…and they needed to install it in real-time without shutting down water treatment or power production. They needed someone with an idea and the expertise to deliver a solution.
ITS Solution: ITS worked with Ameren to create a user-friendly control configuration designed to be installed in a five-phase process. From designing structural fabrication to spec, to creating and programming computer-based user interfaces to improve the overall quality of the system, ITS created the solution Ameren needed.
“The plan was well-organized and executed methodically…In-Land did a great job of integrating this turn-key project.”
- Nick von Feldt, plant engineer, Ameren, in a letter reviewing the Rush Island project
